Duet Night Abyss

Duet Night Abyss is an action RPG where you control a Phoxhunter in the vast continent of Atlasia, a world where ancient magic and mechanical technology intertwine in a precarious balance. At the beginning, you can choose between two characters (male or female), select your name, and launch yourself into the imperial invasion on Purgatorio Island to rescue your friend Berenica from enemy clutches. After being shipwrecked in Icelake, you must face the dreaded "Demons of a Hundred Faces" while unraveling the truth through two parallel narrative arcs, the Noctoyager Chapter and the Twilight Chapter, by alternating perspectives between protagonists of opposite social backgrounds.

Explore the semi-open world of Atlasia

In Duet Night Abyss, you will traverse a semi-open map filled with interconnected regions like Icelake and various imperial zones, completing main quests that will branch the story based on your decisions. In Duet Night Abyss, you can also interact with rival factions such as the independent Phoxhunters and the imperial forces.

Master combat with dual-use weapons

Duet Night Abyss allows you to instantly switch between melee and ranged weapons (such as rifles or pistols, with more than 40 varieties) with left and right clicks, maintaining your flow in intense battles against enemy hordes and bosses. Gameplay is one of the best aspects of Duet Night Abyss, allowing you to move quickly through the setting while dodging the close-range and long-range attacks of each enemy. Every opponent you encounter has a health bar, so you can see how much energy they have left before you finish them off. You will also have special abilities to inflict even more damage, although these draw from your Sanity bar, which regenerates by using aggressive basic attacks.

Move through the setting however you want

With Duet Night Abyss, you can perform a double jump to reach high ledges, a slide to evade projectiles and cover ground quickly, a double dash to reposition yourself in the air, and the Helix Leap for propelled jumps that will allow you to clear chasms or climb enemy towers. You also have a grappling hook to anchor you as you swing between buildings or flying enemies, which can be combined with wall jumps to create gravity-defying vertical routes. From sliding on the ground to flying through the air, you can take full advantage of your mobility as you explore and complete objectives on dynamic battlefields.

Keep advancing with your companions

In Duet Night Abyss, you lead a team of three with a manually-controlled main character and two AI-controlled companions who attack automatically, helping you defeat enemies in the shortest time possible. You can unlock new Phoxhunters and weapons without a gacha system; instead, you can obtain them for free through mission rewards. You can also customize your characters with Demon Wedges, which allow you to increase the amount of damage you inflict on your enemies, for example, as well as recover Sanity or improve your critical hit chances if you have low health.
